Former Canadian child chess prodigy Jeff Sarwer (pictured), ended day 3 as the major chip leader at the EPT in Warsaw last night with a stack of 956,500 chips.

EPT Warsaw 2009 Day 3

When the dust settled at the end of day 2 of the EPT in a very cold but beautiful Warsaw online qualifier Clayton Mozdzen (pictured) was chip leader. As the players shuffled off to enjoy their sour cabbage soup the 148 players at the start of the day had been reduced to just 56.

Welcome to Warsaw Poland, home to the latest leg of the 2009 European Poker Tour.
It is day2 and although the weather may be cold outside but the Poker inside the Hyatt Regency Hotel has been warming up nicely. EPT Barcelona-champion Carter Phillips is currently chip leader as day 2 gets underway.

Party Poker World Open V update

Luke ‘Egg Mayo’ Schwartz (pictured) let his playing do the talking at the Party Poker World Open V in London yeaterday.
Despite almost not playing in the tournament and being escorted by a minder where-ever he went (including the toilet!) he still somehow managed to win heat 1 of the Part Poker event.

PKR Heads Up Result – From Russia with heart(s)

Poker news – Vladimir Geshkenbein took first place at the PKR Heads Up Grand Slam Poker Tournament in London over the weekend. By beating 32year old Finnish player Juha Helpp in the final game Vladimir takes a nice cheque for £120,000 back to Russia.

The London Poker Circuit is Back

The London Poker Circuit is back after announcing its closure only last month.
Originally running tournaments in swanky hotels they have risen from the ashes and will now be based at The Sportsman Casino in London’s West End.
