EPT Warsaw 2009 Day 3
When the dust settled at the end of day 2 of the EPT in a very cold but beautiful Warsaw online qualifier Clayton Mozdzen (pictured) was chip leader. As the players shuffled off to enjoy their sour cabbage soup the 148 players at the start of the day had been reduced to just 56.
Chip leader at the start of play Carter Phillips continued his domination despite being at a tough table with a well behaved Scotty Nguyen and Italian WSOP Bracelet winner Dario Minieri (both had exited the tournament by the end of the day. Phillip’s lead was surrendered firstly to Anatoly Gurtovoy, then to Clayton Mozdzen.
Other notable players still in the tournament include 2008 WSOP main event winner Peter Eastgate and US Pro and fulltime twitterer Shaun Deeb.
